Glenroy Place - sleeps 6, private drive, log burner

Fine served a purpose. Positive: The location was good for us has we were visiting family and friends in the area. But it is on a busy estate next door to a convenience store. Property was clean and comfy but a little cluttered very small kitchen. Great entertainment system and WIFI good. Clean inside property. Garden needs TLC the kitchen drain was blocked - which we cleared ourselves. We would stay at Glenroy again if needed to be in that area. Negative: Dining room table set with crockery and cutlery, needs to be in cupboard as this is collecting dust and dirt. There was far too many emails and messages being sent before, during and after our stay at the property! also in all the time we have been staying in holiday lets and that's many years we have never been asked what time we would being vacating the property on departure day. Departure time is 10am!! their cleaning schedule should not the visitors concern.

Positive: Nice and clean

Last minute weekend Positive: There was a shop next door which was handy. The house is central to the places we wanted to visit and the host is very helpful. Negative: The location of the house was not great. The driveway is very small. The kitchen is also small and the 2 beds in the main bed are not full doubles. Nice seating area in the back garden but ruined by lots of potted plants in the back garden.

Lovely property and well presented. Positive: Lovely cosy place to use as a base to explore the Yorkshire Dales surrounds. After a busy day it was a comfortable home to come back to. Negative: Not anything we didn’t like as such but worth noting the booking advertisement states bed 1,2,3 all have double bed with a single bed. Room one is a double, room 2 has 2x small doubles and room 3 is a small single room. Probably a little tight for the 7 of us. Room with two doubles is fine for children or 1 adult in each bed.

The property was exactly as described and fulfilled our needs for our 2 day stay. Positive: The interior was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Very good value for money
