Value for money in the most beautiful location.

We visited the farmhouse for four nights, 3 adults and 6 children. Both apartments were clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The bedding was beautiful, shower hot and powerful and the garden was absolutely perfect for the kids to play with freedom. The kitchen facilities were good although the cupboards were full of lots of equipment that probably wouldn't be needed during a short stay. The washing machine and the tumble dryer were an absolute must for our stay and it was brilliant having the freedom to use as we needed. There is no doubt that the downstairs accommodation could maybe do with a freshen up but on the whole an excellent stay with lots to do nearby. Thank you Freda 😁

A beautiful and comfortable location with wonderful hosts. Positive: Really comfortable property in a gorgeous location. The views are stunning (their title doesn’t lie!) and the sheep and cows add to the ambience. As this is a working farm, I was expecting it to smell “farmy”, but it smelled really floral and fragrant outside. The hosts were all lovely when we chatted, and were around but not intrusive. Frieda especially was friendly and helpful. We came here after a disaster emergency at the place we were previously staying so it was spur of the moment and a bit hectic for us, but we felt so welcomed it really helped calm us down! We’re already planning on a return trip - one that’s planned in advance so we’re a bit more prepared! Negative: Nothing at all! The only thing to note is there isn’t really any public transport so you need a car to get here. Neither of us drive but given we came here after an emergency at our previous stay we were a bit rushed. But taxis/ubers get here perfectly fine if you don’t drive. So not really a downside, more just something of note. There’s nothing wrong with the property or hosts themselves, it was all great!

A peaceful and relaxing stay. Positive: Stunning location, lovely views, so quiet. Really suits two families that want a bit of space. We all ate together at dinner in the ground floor section. We met the owner, very sweet person who clearly loves her farm. We would book again. Negative: My only moan is the small double beds. They are 4'6" wide and the mattresses could do with replacing. If you're used to super king or even just king they feel small.

Lovely farm stay Positive: What a beautiful setting and it was lovely ro have two families being able to have private space! Watching the lambs from the flats was special! Negative: The top flat had not been cleaned to the same standard as downstairs and not all the mattresses were comfortable as they are well used and probably working up to being replaced.

Great location, beautiful views and well stocked property. Positive: Middle of nowhere! Lovely to be away from the humdrum of normal life and in the middle of such a beautiful landscape. Negative: If you are taking a dog the rules are a bit extreme. He wasn’t allowed outside without a leash on as he wasn’t allowed on the grass. And he was only allowed in one room in the downstairs property, which was different to what I was told when booking.
