We had a two-night stay at Hunters Oak Retreat, but honestly, we really needed longer as the place was absolutely amazing! It’s a stunning house overlooking the beautiful countryside and the perfect place for spending quality time with family and friends. The house was absolutely spotless and beautifully maintained, with beautiful bedrooms, a fabulous swimming pool and hot tub, and plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy themselves. The party room was perfect for bringing everyone together and making special memories. A big thank you to Donna for arranging everything and making the booking so easy. Andrew, the owner and Tony, the caretaker, made us feel so very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. We had a fantastic time and would definitely love to come back — next time, we’ll stay longer!

We booked Hunters Oak Retreat for a special celebration and it exceeded every expectation. The house is stunning, with plenty of space for our whole group to relax, socialise and make unforgettable memories together. The facilities are outstanding. The indoor swimming pool, steam room, huge outdoor hot tub, cinema room, karaoke area and games room kept everyone entertained throughout our stay. Every room was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and finished to a very high standard. The grounds are equally impressive, offering beautiful views and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday, family gathering, hen party or simply looking for a luxury getaway with friends, this place is perfect. The team were fantastic throughout, providing excellent communication before and during our stay, making everything effortless from booking to check out. We’ve stayed in many large group properties over the years and Hunters Oak Retreat is by far one of the best. We are already looking at dates for our next visit and would recommend it to anyone looking for a truly memorable luxury retreat. Thank you for an amazing stay! We can’t wait to return.

Best place ever!

Absolutely fantastic hen party for 25 women, we enjoyed it so much and the weather stayed fab so we could sit outside and go in the outside hot tub. The pool & hot tub inside was so warm it was lovely! The bar area is amazing and we didn’t feel cramped at all, so much space to play games and have some fun! We did a cocktail masterclass and the table inside is so big and really good for that masterclass we had so much fun! Kitchen is a gorgeous size, lots of space to put your stuff and the wine cooler is a bonus! The owner put loads of ice in the freezer for us which was amazing. The beds are extremely comfy, a lot of space in the rooms. One downside is 2 rooms upstairs don’t have a toilet and the nearest bathroom is the one connected to the pool, but we made it work! The rest of the rooms have their own bathroom inside. I didn’t realise they had a sound system which connects to every room if you download an app on your phone and you can play your own music through the whole house! Such an amazing touch to this place as you don’t need a speaker to take with you!! Highly recommend this place to anyone for a family get together or a hen do! We will definitely come back again.
