Queen's Cottage Barrowford

Positive: The Cottage was very comfortable and clean. It is very well equipped and centrally located within Barrowford. We felt very at home and the staff who look after the Cottage are very helpful. There is a very large main bedroom and a good sized second bedroom with bunk beds, that are full size single beds and although we did not use that room, it looked very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and their is a cosy area outside to sit out in. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Negative: Parking could be a little difficult.

Positive: The cottage was very clean and tastefully decorated. The boys were pleased that there was satellite television. The beds were very comfy and lovely bedding. The courtyard was nice to sit out in the morning. Negative: The plug in the bathroom was faulty. We thought that there should be a baby safety gate available if there was a small child. We also think that there should be a mention on the website to tell folk that the streets are very steep.

Great accommodation, host & location Positive: Well equipped accommodation - little extras such as shower gel, kitchen cleaning products etc Clean & Nicely furnished Great location for Town with choice of bars and eateries and walking options Host Donna was 1st class Negative: 4 chairs for outside would have been nice as the weather was lovely but really not a problem. No Teapot - personal choice No grass for dogs but it only a small yard area

Was perfect - couldn’t fault it. Hosts were great too and couldn’t have been more helpful. Positive: The property was absolutely spotless, it was so clean and fresh. The home itself, bedding and towels all smelt lovely too. It was literally home from home. Negative: I genuinely cannot think of anything I didn’t like about the place.
