Ideal accommodation for our needs.
Positive: Ideal for our needs. Good location and very clean. Lots of power points. Comfortable bed. WiFi worked well.
Negative: Parking could be a little difficult but sorted in the end. Some USB charging ports would have been useful.

A pleasant short weekend trip
Positive: The location was excellent for the purpose of my trip, with Yorkshire 3 Peaks just a short 45-minute drive away, making it the ideal base for us.
Communication from the host was excellent throughout and added a thoughtful touch, particularly when they reached out to ensure we had arrived and accessed the accommodation without any issues. They also informed us about the damaged kitchen door in advance, which was appreciated, although I personally did not notice any damage during our stay.
I’m unable to comment on how well-equipped the kitchen was as we did not cook, but it included complimentary tea, coffee, and milk, along with essentials such as a kettle, coffee maker, and toaster.
Lastly, I appreciated the added touch of the disposable face towel, which made the stay feel even more considerate and welcoming.
Negative: I did notice a few dead wasps in the accommodation, although this is understandably difficult to avoid. If I were being extremely picky, my only suggestion would be to add a bin in the master bedroom.

Requires updating
Positive: Well equiped kitchen and comfortable master bedroom. There was a sweet childrens bedroom with bunk beds although we didn't have need to use.
Negative: The decor and furnishings downstairs were gloomy and uncomfortable with shaby sofa and chair.
My husband described it as looking like a funeral parlour. The grey walls and grey woodwork were depressing for a holiday rental.
The bedrooms were more uplifting with the use of a sage green, comfortable bed.
This property is situated on a steep incline and is a terrace rather than a cottage
