Wiswell View Lodge: Pendle View Holiday Park

Comfortable, spacious and well equipped accommodation for our 3 day break. Positive: The lodge was beautifully furnished and provided lots of space and comfort. Fully equipped kitchen, lovely lounge area and TV with all the channels including. Netflix. We were staying in the area to attend a wedding in nearby Mitton so Pendle View was in an ideal location. Negative: We couldn’t work out how to use the microwave even with the instructions. Not a big deal we just used the oven to heat our food. We noticed the tap water was rather discoloured when washing up and using the wash basins and bath. No fault of the property owners but was a little disconcerting.

Positive: Lovely site with gorgeous scenery, felt safe and secure and there was no noise. The lodge itself is spacious and well appointed with everything you could need. The outdoor terrace was perfect to enjoy the sun. The beds although on the smaller size in the twim room were comfy and the whole place was really clean. Great to have two bathrooms.

Clean, tidy and well located too Negative: Check out time is early at 10am and the cleaner arrived at 10:02 and made my children feel very uneasy as we were packing up the car. A little grace period would be nice or an 11am check out to give a more relaxed feel
