Bramley Brook Cottage 5* Luxury

It was our second visit and we would love a third! Positive: Well equipped and very comfortable. Lovely decor too. A perfect location for hiking with a super pub next door. Negative: One of the bedrooms gets very hot in the sun (although the view is outstanding). A fan would be useful.

Another fabulous stay Positive: Very classy…. Beautifully presented and maintained. Two excellent shower rooms and a downstairs loo. Great to have a washing machine. Fabulous kitchen Very comfortable beds. Both bedrooms have 6ft beds. Excellent parking Lovely neighbourhood and excellent parking. Stayed here at least three times and we absolutely love it! Negative: Nothing. Only two minor things that could be better….my husband said the towels are a bit on the small side and not very thick. I’d love the cottage to have a coffee machine. Both minor details.

Lovely cottage and host Positive: Loved the communication from Donna the host and the little treat left for our dog. Very nice touch. The cottage is lovely and warm and cosy. We met the owner and he seemed lovely too. Negative: The only blip was builders being on site with loud angle grinders working on the wall in the garden when we arrived and had the expectation they could stay during our booking. We booked this trip purely to relax and unwind having recently had building work done at our own home. We felt a little uncomfortable having to ask that they down tools and then closed the blinds as they were just outside the window while we settled in. Had we known this was even a possibility we would have booked somewhere else. Thankfully the owner agreed they could come back after our trip and we couldn't fault the cottage so this was a minor hiccup.
