The Milan Suite at Moat House

Stayed at the Moat House in the Milan Suite during the recent festive period. We had a very comfortable stay at this well appointed establishment. The only concern we had was that we would have preferred a bed larger than the standard double bed that was in situe, which was tucked up against the wall making it less roomy. All the other facilities were of a high standard. The hosts do have larger suites but we're not available for the period we required so we were lucky they were able to accommodate us with this alternative. We will definitely be returning in the not too distant future.

Highly recommended Positive: Beautifully decorated, ideal location for St Mary’s Chambers and spotlessly clean. Hosts were on hand by text if there were any problems and were extremely helpful. Negative: Nothing

Positive: Excellent location for our convenience. Easy, free parking. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. We definitely hope to visit again, but would opt for a room with a larger bed space. Negative: Our only issue was that the bed was on the small size and since it was against a side wall, allowed little wriggle room, so we'd definitely prefer a larger bed!

Lovely Positive: Lovely room, nice and cosy. Good location in relation to the town and the events venue we were attending. Negative: Only tiny grumble - it was a little hot in the hall when coming in, the room was a good temperature.

Clean, but compact apartment Positive: The apartment was clean and well furnished. It had a nice little kitchen area. The location was good for all the restaurants and bars in Rawtenstall. Negative: The Milan apartment was compact, there was a double bed that was up against a wall, no room for bedside tables.
